Canadian Cannabis Regulators Forum – Participate in November!
The Canadian Cannabis Regulators Forum is a pan-Canadian forum of provincial, territorial, and municipal regulators focusing on preparing for the unique issues and challenges with the legalization of recreational cannabis in July 2018.
Legal Opinion on Species at Risk Proposed Policies Now Available
At the Spring 2017 convention, AAMDC members endorsed resolution 9-17S: Legal Opinion for Species at Risk Proposed Policies, which directed the AAMDC to seek a legal opinion on the proposed Species at Risk Act policies to determine what effect that the proposed policies will have on municipal operations and the rights and freedoms of rural landowners.
Electoral Boundary Commission Final Report Released
The Alberta Electoral Boundary Commission (AEBC) presented its Final Report and the accompanying maps to the Legislature this afternoon.
