Last week, the Government of Alberta opened the application period for the Affordable Housing Partnership Program (AHPP). To support members in learning more about the program and how to apply, RMA has requested that Alberta Seniors, Community, and Social Services deliver a webinar providing an overview of the AHPP and application process. Webinar details are as follows:
- When: Thursday, December 12, 10 – 11 am MST
- Where: Zoom. Register Here. The webinar is open to RMA member elected officials and staff only.
- How: You will receive an email containing a link and information on how to join the meeting after registering.
Following the presentation, there will be time for questions on the program and application process.
Resolution 9-23F: Review of Affordable Housing Funding Programs is based on concerns with the resources applicants must invest into AHPP applications without any certainty that their application will be successful, and a lack of clarity around how AHPP funding allocation is prioritized. Hosting a webinar is one small step RMA can take to support member engagement with this funding program.
