The AHPP provides funding for public, non-profit, and private-sector housing providers for innovative and sustainable affordable housing projects.
The Government of Alberta has opened applications for funding under the Affordable Housing Partnership Program (AHPP), which aims to bring together partners from public, private, and non-profit organizations to provide more affordable housing where it is needed most.
Eligible projects include affordable housing developments, including new construction, renovation, or redevelopments, each of which may receive a provincial contribution of up to one-third of the total eligible project cost. The provincial contribution may be in the form of capital grants, land or buildings, or the transfer/long-term lease of provincially owned buildings.

Applications are now open and will close on January 31, 2025.
