The virtual event provided participants with a detailed overview of the Government of Alberta’s study of a possible provincial police force
On February 17, RMA and AUMA co-hosted a President’s Summit on Provincial Policing focusing on the study of a provincial police service in Alberta. The session featured the following speakers (click on the organization’s name to view their presentation):

In addition to the presentations, the National Police Federation has provided RMA and AUMA with a document providing written answers to participant questions that were not answered live during the summit. RMA and AUMA are awaiting similar documents from the Government of Alberta and RCMP and will share with members when they are received.
