Due to popular demand, the RMA is hosting another presentation with Alberta Environment and Parks to discuss their progress on modernizing the environmental regulatory system
In February, the RMA hosted a presentation and Q&A session with senior representatives from Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP). Due to popular demand, the RMA will be hosting another session with AEP senior representatives before the RMA’s 2022 Spring Convention. The presentation will cover the ministry’s progress on working to fulfill the vision of a balanced and results-based approach to environmental stewardship for air, land, water, and biodiversity while enabling sustainable development of natural resources. The presentation will not be the same as the one offered in February as AEP will be revising their presentation based on the questions asked in the previous session.
The presentation will be held in person on March 14 from 10:00 to 11:30 am in Salon 8 at the Edmonton Convention Centre. There is no registration for the session. However, the salon has a capacity limit of 200 and admission will be on a first come, first served basis.
