The Red Deer River Watershed Alliance will be hosting its Fall Forum in Sylvan Lake on November 1, 2018
The Red Deer River Watershed Alliance (RDRWA) is hosting a forum to discuss watershed health. Presentations will include RMA’s own Policy Analyst, Matt Dow, who will be highlighting changes to the MGA and the implications for watershed planning and the environment. He will also introduce their new ICF toolkit and how it can be used for watershed planning within a municipality.
There will also be a presentation on some of the work recently undertaken at the RDRWA as well as an update on key issues and programs that affect the Red Deer River watershed including Source Water Protection Planning.
