The Government of Alberta is gathering input from Albertans for the Seniors’ Lodge program
The Government of Alberta is reviewing the Seniors’ Lodge program, including the type and level of service provided and how it connects with the continuing care system. As part of this review, the government is interested in gathering input from Albertans about anticipated needs for supported living as people age.
The Seniors’ Lodge program provides supportive living for individuals and couples including accommodation, meal service, and activities. The Lodge program is designed to provide accommodation to seniors over 65 years of age that do not require continuing care but benefit from companionship and support in daily living activities. Some Lodges also house younger Albertans in need of additional living support.
The survey will take five to 15 minutes to complete and closes on April 9, 2024.
