RMA is planning a session to help inform members about the provincial police service transition study engagement
Alberta Justice and Solicitor General (JSG) is planning to engage with municipalities regarding the Alberta Provincial Police Service (APPS) Transition Study. To help members prepare for these engagement sessions, RMA is hosting a virtual townhall on January 6, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. This session will summarize information contained in the APPS Transition Study and accompanying documents, and allow for time for members to ask questions and prepare to engage on the issue.
RMA has released a primer document to assist members as they prepare for engagement sessions. Additionally, watch for a more detailed guide that will be coming before the virtual townhall. Registration information for the virtual townhall will be shared directly with members shortly.
