RMA has partnered with the Alberta Centre for Sustainable Rural Communities (ACSRC) at the University of Alberta to conduct a study on volunteerism in rural Alberta
The Alberta Centre for Sustainable Rural Communities (ACSRC) at the University of Alberta, in collaboration with the RMA, are conducting an academic research study that explores recent trends in volunteerism in rural Alberta and their impacts on rural municipalities.
Over the coming weeks, many members will receive an invitation to participate in this study, which will include a 30-45 minute interview over Zoom. All information supplied during the research process will be held in confidence; the name of the respondent or the municipality will not appear in the final report or any other research publications that are produced.
The RMA is encouraging all members to engage in this important project, as it will help better define trends in how services are delivered in rural Alberta.
If you have any questions, or would like to participate, please email the Director of the ACSRC, Dr. Clark Banack at csbanack@ualberta.ca.
