RMA Insurance is pleased to announce the availability of scholarship funds for members of the insurance program. This scholarship program has been established to encourage and promote the study of risk management among RMA Insurance members. Consideration will be given to all applicants who demonstrate career goals and educational objectives, including support within their organization.
Candidates must confirm that risk management or insurance is a function of their current position and they must provide a written recommendation from their supervisor advising why the education is useful for their role.
Eligible Courses
Canadian Risk Management (CRM) Program
There are three risk management courses required for completion towards the CRM diploma. These courses include risk assessment, risk control, and risk financing. CRM course providers in Alberta are:
CRM-E Program – CRM-Enterprise Risk Management
The RMA Insurance Scholarship Program will also cover the cost of the Risk Management Society’s (RIMS) three-day Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) workshop. Individuals who complete this workshop and already hold a CRM designation will be eligible to apply for a CRM-E designation. Scholarship funding includes the cost of registration and required textbooks.
