RMA, along with AUMA and IAMA, have received funding from the FCM’s Municipal Asset Management Program to offer additional asset management training
RMA, in collaboration with the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (AUMA) and Infrastructure Asset Management Alberta (IAMA), have received funding under the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Municipal Asset Management Program (MAMP) to develop and deliver group learning cohorts in which participating municipalities will work together to build their asset management capacity. The funding for the development and delivery of the cohorts builds on previous support from the MAMP program in 2017 and 2018 that allowed RMA, AUMA, and IAMA to deliver workshops and cohorts to municipalities across the province on a variety of asset management-related topics.
RMA, AUMA, and IAMA are currently developing a plan for the detailed roll-out of capacity-building training options. More information on training content, dates, locations, costs, and how to apply will be made available in the coming weeks and months.
This initiative is delivered through the Municipal Asset Management Program, which is delivered by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and funded by the Government of Canada.
