To be in compliance with legislation, businesses need a registration number.
As per Alberta Legislative Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act, all businesses suppling paint, tires, or electronic products are defined in the Designated Material Recycling and Management Regulation, as well as corresponding bylaws. All of which are required to hold valid registration with the Alberta Recycling Management Authority.
