The RMA is launching a new engagement opportunity to connect and learn from members
As limitations for in-person meetings continue, the RMA will leverage technology to provide the opportunity to connect members with each other and with RMA board and staff. To facilitate this, the RMA is launching new District Virtual Engagement Sessions
from May 14 to 17, 2021. These sessions are only available to RMA full member municipalities.
During these virtual sessions, members will engage with the fellow municipal councillors and CAOs in their district and appropriate RMA Directors. The President and Vice-President will be on-hand to facilitate discussion to engage and learn about your issues and priorities. The RMA will leverage what is learned into the associations’ annual planning cycle that commences in June.
The dates for each District Virtual Engagement Session are as follows:
- District 1: Friday, May 14, 2021 at 8:30 - 10:00 am
- District 2: Monday, May 17, 2021 at 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
- District 3: Monday, May 17, 2021 at 1:00 – 2:30 pm
- District 4: Friday, May 14, 2021 at 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
- District 5: Monday, May 17, 2021 at 8:30 – 10:30 am
To aid in planning, individual councillors and CAOs are requested to register in advance to attend
their district session. If scheduling conflicts limit members from attending their assigned district session, please register for any of the other sessions that will work. The deadline to register is May 7, 2021
As there will be breakout groups to facilitate issue dialogue and input gathering, each participant will require an individual device.
