The Elected Officials Education Program (EOEP), a joint venture of the AAMDC and AUMA, is Alberta’s only professional education program designed for municipally elected officials.
The EOEP will introduce a brand-new series of courses that will be offered directly after the upcoming municipal election in fall 2017. The new EOEP will be led by Munis 101, which will provide both new and returning elected officials with the skills and knowledge that they need to excel in their positions. Munis 101 will meet Municipal Affairs mandatory training requirements under the revised Municipal Government Act.
Over the next several months, the EOEP will be holding their final two in-person courses under the current format. While the subject matter of these courses will be integrated into the courses offered in the new format, this will be the final time they are offered as standalone courses, so if the subject matter is of interest to you, sign up!
