The Government of Alberta is reviewing the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) system
and is looking for feedback from key stakeholders including municipalities.
The review examines the legislation, as well as our compliance, enforcement, education, awareness and prevention efforts. Topics include:
- clarifying employer and worker responsibilities in legislation;
- improving worker engagement in OHS;
- renewed focus on illness and injury prevention.
