Municipal Asset Management Program Now Accepting Applications

The FCM’s Municipal Asset Management Program (MAMP) is now accepting applications from municipalities for a wide range of asset management activities. Eligible activities fall under the following categories:

  • Asset management assessments
  • Asset management plans, policies and strategies
  • Data collection and reporting
  • Training and organizational development
  • Knowledge transfer

For examples of projects in each category, view the MAMP Application Guide.

In general, the MAMP is seeking to support municipalities in making local progress on asset management through funding relatively small projects, with a maximum per-project funding allotment of $50,000.

FCM will accept applications on a continuous basis for the duration of the program, with applications accepted until June 30, 2020. Applications will be reviewed monthly. Recipients may apply for one project per fiscal year (April-March).

To view the application requirements and process, view the MAMP Application Guide. The FCM encourages all applicants to contact an FCM advisor to ensure their project is eligible prior to applying. Advisors can be contacted by emailing programs@fcm.ca or calling 1.877.997.9926.
