Three of the modified species are located within Alberta
In August 2021, Environment and Climate Change Canada registered 16 species at risk under the Species at Risk Act (SARA). These changes were reported in the Canada Gazette, part II on September 1, 2021. Of the 16 at risk species, two are found within Alberta:
- Bullsnake, which is categorized as special concern.
- LadyBeetle, Transverse, which is categorized as special concern.
This table shows all of the species that are included in the SARA listing order and have been officially added or reclassified to Schedule 1 of the Species at Risk Act. The species below are located within the Prairies.
