The webinar will feature representatives from RhPAP and AHS discussing the importance of collaboration to health care service delivery in rural Alberta
As access to health services is an ongoing challenge across rural Alberta, the RMA has partnered with the Rural Health Professions Action Plan (RhPAP) and Alberta Health Services to deliver a webinar titled Collaboration Enhances Rural Alberta Healthcare Support.
The webinar will be held on Thursday, January 19 from 9:00 to 10:00 am. The discussion was originally scheduled for the RMA Fall 2022 Convention but was postponed due to a scheduling issue.
The webinar will discuss approaches to collaboration among the presenters and other organizations, and how it ultimately leads to enhanced support to, and meaningful interactions with, rural Alberta communities. It will also highlight the learnings each organization has gained from collaborating more intentionally in areas related to health and well-being in rural Alberta.
The webinar is open to all RMA member elected officials and staff and is free to attend. There is no need to register in advance. To join the webinar, use this link.
