FCM is seeking input from municipalities on development of the new Green Municipal Fund
The Green Municipal Fund (GMF) aims to help local governments switch to sustainable practices faster. The GMF is a $1.6 billion program funded by the Government of Canada and will focus on early-stage planning, plans to deliver sustainable solutions, feasibility studies, pilot projects, and capital projects.
The Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) is asking for input from anyone involved in infrastructure lifecycle at a municipality and potential impacts of this funding. This input will help identify where support is most critical, regional specificities, and key decision gates for infrastructure projects.
