Albertans can submit their ideas for cutting red tape through email or a fillable form
The Government of Alberta has launched a red tape reporting website to enable Albertans to suggest red tape reduction opportunities and share their experiences in encountering red tape when interacting with provincial government services or processes. The website is one aspect of the Government of Alberta’s overall focus on reducing the regulatory burden on business, and is supported by Bill 4: the Red Tape Reduction Act.
To submit a red tape reduction idea, complete the fillable form by clicking here, or email CutRedTape@gov.ab.ca.
In addition to the request for public input, the Government of Alberta is consulting directly with many stakeholders, including RMA, to identify red tape reduction initiatives in all government ministries. To help inform RMA’s engagement, members are encouraged to share council positions for red tape reduction by emailing Policy Analyst, Warren Noga, at warren@RMAlberta.com.
