Alberta Environment and Parks
has modified the process for the review of five-year reports under the Code of Practice for Pits
. The changes were made to streamline the review approach and ensure that the report management was consistent for all types of industry. The changes include:
- Reports will be managed as “reports” and not “applications”, which means that:
- The registration number will no longer change when the report is received and reviewed by the department.
- Report review letters will not be posted on the Authorization Viewer.
There are no changes to regulatory requirements. If you have any questions, AEP has developed a fact sheet
