Environmental Farm Plan Habitat Management Workshops

Alberta EFP is seeking input from farmers with an Environmental Farm Plan on a new habitat management tool

Alberta Environmental Farm Plan (AEFP) is seeking farmers with a completed Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) to participate in a workshop to provide feedback on a new habitat management tool. AEFP is seeking input on suggested practices that will help make a difference in real farming operations.

During the workshop, participants complete a survey developed by the University of Alberta, and then update their EFPs to the new version, including information covered in the new Habitat Management Chapter. AEFP will then follow up with the producers a few weeks after the workshop to learn more about how the habitat management chapter of the EFP is being implemented, including lessons learned. Participants can submit their updated EFP for a new EFP certificate and will also receive a copy of the 2021 Blue Book and EFP swag.

Those interested in participating are invited to attend one of three virtual sessions:

  • April 7, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:30 am
  • April 8, 2021 from 1:30 to 3:00 pm
  • April 13, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:30 pm

To register, email info@albertaefp.com or call 587.200.2552.
