9The Energy Futures Lab
is seeking expressions of interest from communities as part of their Energy Futures Roadshow. The Energy Futures Lab is a diverse network of over 60 innovators and organizations working collaboratively to take action in response to the question:
How can Alberta’s position in today’s energy system serve as a platform for transitioning to the energy system of the future?
They are reaching out to community leaders to join them in this effort.
The Energy Futures Roadshow will begin with a pilot between the Energy Futures Lab and local communities. The two- to three-day engagement will be designed and delivered in collaboration with the community, and will be tailored to the community’s interests and capacities. The engagement will revolve around a series of workshops with businesses, governments, schools, economic developers, community developers, and other cohorts.
