The Canadian Wind Energy Association (CANWEA) has released a new resource on decommissioning and repowering wind farms. Wind farms are typically in operation for 20 to 30 years, but once a farm reaches the end of its life cycle, consideration is given to either decommission or repower the facility. This new resource outlines parts of that process and what is typically required.
