The Alberta Wetland Policy became in effect province-wide in July and the Government of Alberta has been developing addition resources to support the implementation process for multiple industries and sectors.
On December 14, 2016, the Government of Alberta posted a number of updates on the Alberta Wetland Policy Implementation website, including information on:
- Alberta Wetland Restoration Directive
- Professional Responsibility in Completion and Assurance of Wetland Science, Design and Engineering Work in Alberta
The Government of Alberta has also updated fact sheets, which provide information on the impact of the Policy on specific industries or activities. Fact sheets have recently been update for the following sectors:
The AAMDC will continue to share information related to the Alberta Wetland Policy with members as required.
