Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute is hosting a webinar to provide a summary of new version of their online mapping portal
The Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute
(ABMI) recently launched a new version of their online mapping portal
. This mapping portal allows users to pull up a location that interests them and load data layers, such as human footprints, old forest bird habitat suitability, or predicted hotspots for uncommon species. Users can access a summary of the total human footprint in their area of interest and compare these summary figures over time.
The ABMI will be hosting a webinar
on March 26, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Registration is required in advance. This webinar will provide:
- A summary of new features and datasets;
- A demonstration of how to navigate the mapping portal; and
- A question and answer session.
