The AAMDC has completed its first Board Member Committee Report, which is available now by clicking here. The report can also be accessed during the AAMDC Spring 2018 Convention through the convention app.
The AAMDC developed the report to meet a recommendation of the Board Governance Review Committee and endorsed by AAMDC members at the spring 2017 convention. The recommendation is as follows:
Strengthen AAMDC board accountability by making available a board report to AAMDC members twice annually and posting all committees that board members participate in on the AAMDC website. The report will include an update on all committees that AAMDC board members participate in.
The report includes a summary of all committees on which the AAMDC has a board member representative. The information provided is derived from a combination of board member reporting on their committee activities over the past six months and a review of terms of reference and other information for each committee. It is important to note that because of varied information available and different meeting frequencies for each committee, some committees have more details available than others. If you have any questions about a committee, please contact the board member participating on that or an AAMDC External Relations and Advocacy staff member.
