The Government of Alberta is looking for feedback on current issues and opportunities related to the management of Fusarium graminearum in Alberta. Fusarium graminearum is a plant pathogen which causes fusarium head blight, a devastating disease on wheat and barley. The information collected will help determine how best to manage Fusarium graminearum in the future, as well as help improve programs and services provided by Alberta Agriculture and Forestry.

The deadline for survey completion is Thursday, January 18, 2018. The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. The AAMDC has had several endorsed resolutions related to Fusarium graminearum and has advocated for zero tolerance to reduce the risk of infestation based on member direction.
