The Town of Morinville is currently seeking a permanent full-time Team Lead, Public Works, to join the Infrastructure Services team. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, this role oversees daily operations, coordinates work crews, and ensures the efficient delivery of public works services, including roads, infrastructure maintenance, snow removal, and municipal asset upkeep. This position oversees the full-time Equipment Operator positions, Public Works Operators II and Public Works Operators III, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while supporting municipal goals and service standards.
Compensation/Hours of Work: This position is included within the scope of Morinville’s CUPE 2426 local bargaining unit and has a probationary wage of $38.11 per hour. Upon completion of 480 hours the wage rate increases to $40.71 per hour, and upon completion of 4,160 hours the wage rate increases to $43.46 per hour, which will be applied in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
