Athabasca County is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee the administration of the organization’s Health & Safety Management System including risk prevention. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety legislation, advancing risk management strategies, and fostering a strong culture of workplace safety across all departments. In addition to managing workplace safety initiatives, this position will oversee risk mitigation strategies, insurance compliance, and workplace incident investigations to protect both employees and County assets.
