Qualifications and Skills:
- Ceramics background with comprehensive skills and knowledge of ceramics processes, and a broad knowledge of visual arts in general
- Demonstrated budgeting experience
- Strong leadership, team building and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication, customer service and public relations skills
- Ceramics background and a broad knowledge of visual arts in general
- Post Secondary specialized training/certificate with five (5) years related experience (Recreation, Business, Arts or Culture, Physical Education, Education, or related discipline)
- Specialized Education in Fine Arts would be considered an asset
- Experience in recruiting, supervising and evaluating staff/instructors
Conditions of Employment:
- Submission of a Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s licence and submission of a 5-year Driver’s Abstract with less than 7 demerits
- Ability to perform physical labour as part of the job duties and stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 45 pounds of weight
- Obtain a current and valid Standard First Aid certification prior to the completion of training
