Rocky View Water Co-op Ltd. has a rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual with appropriate qualifications, skills and experience seeking a new challenge in Water Treatment and Distribution.

The Co-op is a user-owned water utility with state-of-the-art facilities supplying the steadily growing area north of Calgary from Cochrane to Airdrie. More than 1,450 residential, commercial and institutional properties are presently served by the Co-op.

Accountable to the General Manager, this position requires an individual with effective leadership, organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability and desire to work independently, exercise initiative and foster good working relationships.

Requirements:

Fully qualified applicants will be able to meet the physical requirements of the position and will have:

Relevant post-secondary education.

Successful completion of a recognized Water Treatment and Distribution program and a minimum of a Level II certification in Water Treatment and Distribution or its equivalent from another jurisdiction. Preference will be given to candidates with Level III Water Treatment Certification, or the ability to obtain.

SCADA System experience and computer competency in Microsoft Office programs.

A valid Class 5 Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator’s License, with a driver’s abstract required.
