We are a progressive, member-owned water utility with state-of-the-art facilities supplying the steadily growing area north of Calgary from Cochrane to Airdrie. Over 1,450 residential, commercial and institutional properties are served by the Co-op.
Accountable to the General Manager, this position requires an individual with effective organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, the ability and desire to work independently, exercise initiative and foster good working relationships.
Key Responsibilities Include:
The Office Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting records are maintained, including processing cash receipts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation and financial statements. This position is also responsible for payroll, human resources administration, employee benefits, reception, membership benefits and general office administration functions.
Requirements:
Fully qualified applicants will have:
- Intermediate accounting skills and experience
- General office administration experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, Outlook and accounting software
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Payroll, employee benefits and human resource experience
- Experience in utility administration and finance and Muniware software preferred.
