Now Hiring: Levies & Agreement Specialist (Competition #25-07)
Parkland County has an opportunity for a permanent full-time Levies & Agreement Specialist in the Planning & Development Services department. Reporting to the Senior Planner, Current Planning, the Levies & Agreement Specialist is responsible to oversee Parkland County’s off-site levy program, development agreements and securities program. This position is accountable for driving continuous improvement in programs and processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. This position will be skilled at applying and communicating specialized knowledge of project management, off-site levies and development agreement practices, legislation and policies, database management, and planning processes. The role will provide expert technical advice, manage planning and development applications and represent the County on various internal and external committees. Additionally, this position will support the Director and Department Managers on a range of projects, issues and applications keeping in regular communication with their leadership team to ensure alignment on project deliverables, and when necessary, seeks their assistance to advance projects.

A starting annual salary of $82,300 to $89,000, commensurate with education and experience, based on a 35-hour work week and option to join the Earned Day Off Program.
