Summary

The Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for providing technical expertise and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role involves implementing and maintaining hardware, software, and network systems while supporting ongoing projects and initiatives. The Infrastructure Analyst works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Activities

IT Operations Support

  • Provide ongoing operational support for all IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Technology Implementation

  • Implement new technology services based on approved architecture and design.
  • Participate in the execution, build, and testing of infrastructure solutions.
  • Maintain hardware and software inventories required for system rollouts.

End-User Support

  • Ensure timely and effective support for end-users, addressing technical issues and providing training as needed.

Project Participation

  • Collaborate on the delivery of projects involving the deployment of infrastructure and applications.
  • Ensure adherence to project management standards, including documentation, reporting, and communication.

Emerging Technologies and Knowledge Sharing

  • Stay updated on new and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with team members to foster technical growth and collaboration.

Documentation and Compliance

  • Participation in asset management.
  • Participation in security compliance and auditing processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure solutions, configurations, and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and organizational standards.

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of IT trends and emerging technologies
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships within and outside the team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes, maintaining accuracy and focus in high-pressure environments.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressive IT experience in complex environments with distributed sites.
  • 5+ years of experience in:
    • Technical roles within large enterprises
    • Managing Windows and Linux servers in enterprise environments
    • Working with Microsoft Azure, O365, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • Designing and deploying private and hybrid cloud solutions
    • Cloud platforms: Azure and AWS
    • SD-WAN architecture: deployment and maintenance
    • Centralized wireless architecture: deployment and maintenance (Cisco Meraki preferred)
    • Hypervisors: Hyper-V and VMware
    • Storage solutions: QNAP preferred
    • PowerShell scripting for automation and management
