The County of Vermilion River is seeking a highly motivated and efficient person to join our Administration team as our Human Resources Assistant. Our fast-paced work environment will provide daily task variety in an engaging family-oriented workplace. A qualified candidate will provide support to the Human Resources Manager in the areas of Data Management, recruitment, onboarding, and training and development. Experience with the REACH HR data management (or similar system) is considered an asset. A post-secondary education in the Human Resources field and/or comparable work experience is required. Must have CPHR designation or be willing to obtain.

HR Data Management: Be instrumental in the implementation and management of the REACH HR system.
Recruitment: Assist with job descriptions and interview plans.
Onboarding: help orient new hires to the County workplace.
Training and Professional Development Programs: handle registrations and accommodation bookings for staff Training and Professional Development events; assist with internal training opportunities.
Administration: Prepare documents and reports; provide analysis as required; adhere to policies, standards and regulations; provide filing and records management support.
Attention to detail and strict confidentiality are required.
