Key Responsibilities Include:
Our ideal candidate:
- Knowledgeable in asset management planning, including life-cycle cost analysis and asset optimization.
- Competent in tendering, contract management and proficient at reading engineering drawings, specifications and contract documents.
- Proficient with project statements, drawing reviews, project specs, technical evaluation and conducts field inspections.
- Shows ability to manage projects and stay on top of multiple projects completion.
- Gains the trust of stakeholders to resolve issues, initiate actions and complete assignments.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a two (2) year diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent, from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) with membership in or the ability to become a member of the Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists (ASET).
- Five (5) years of related experience.
- Knowledge and experience in asset/capital planning. Preference given to candidates with direct GIS and AutoCAD experience.
- Asset management certification from an accredited Asset Management Institute considered an asset.
- Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- An equivalent combination of management approved training and experience may be considered.
- This position is identified as safety sensitive and requires completion of a satisfactory pre-employment drug screen.
