Athabasca County is seeking an experienced and strategic leader for the role of Director of Infrastructure. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Director of Infrastructure is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of Athabasca County’s public works, utilities, parks, agricultural services, and other essential facilities within the municipality. This role plays a vital and fundamental part of overseeing the planning, development, and management of all infrastructure projects for the municipality.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering, public administration, or a related field, with 5-10 years of senior-level management experience, ideally in a municipal setting. Consideration may be given to those with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
