Development Officer
Temporary, Full-time - 35 hours per week

$44.98 - $56.21 hourly

If we’ve caught your attention, you should know that we’re currently recruiting for a temporary, full-time Development Officer to provide support to our fast growing city!
The Development Officer is responsible for the processing of development applications and the administration and enforcement of the regulations contained in the Land Use Bylaw and other statutory documents. In addition, you will provide assistance to the general public, developers, contractors, businesses, or other city staff and council regarding planning and development matters.
The ideal candidate will have completed a diploma training program at a college or technical school related to Land Use Planning (ie: Planning Technician Diploma, Applied Land Use Planning Certificate). Three years of related experience is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The successful candidate must be willing to provide a current Criminal Records Check as part of the hiring process.
