What do you need to succeed?
You are an ideal candidate if you have the following:
- A minimum two (2) year technology diploma or certificate in Records Management, Business Administration or related field with a focus on development and implementation of a corporate records management system preferably in a municipal environment
- A Certified Records Manager designation or working towards the CRM designation would be an asset
- Certified Information Professional (CIP) completion or working towards the completion of certification would be an asset
- Membership in ARMA International and/or AIIM International and completion of related courses would be considered an asset
- A combination of education and experience would be considered an asset
- A minimum of three (3) years of directly related experience in a Corporate Records environment
- Experience in municipal government would be an asset, or experience working in a similar organization and high-paced environment
- Experience with Electronic record-keeping, use of an EDRMS and electronic folder structures is required
- Experience with the RecFIND system would be an asset
- A good knowledge of physical and electronic records systems and enterprise content management coupled with experience providing training to cohorts and working with internal and external clients would be considered an asset
