Clearwater County is now accepting applications from qualified candidates for our Full-time Community Peace Officer. As part of our team who reports to the Manager/Sgt, our Community Peace Officer is responsible for Infrastructure protection and public safety, providing education and awareness, inspections and assisting in projects as assigned.
Primary duties include highway patrol, responding and follow up to complaints, responding and follow up to motor vehicle collisions, enforcing weight restrictions and road use agreements, and assisting with disasters/emergency events.
This position works a 4 [four days] X 10 [hours/day] weekly schedule. Participation in our group benefits program and eligibility for Local Authorities Pension plan.
