What YOU Bring
Education & Experience:
- Post-secondary diploma in a relevant discipline (Engineering Technology, Asset Management, or other related discipline) or an equivalent combination of education qualifications and experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of progressive and related asset management experience and a minimum of 1 year of budgeting and work planning experience.
- Knowledge of financial principles related to depreciation, ROI, budgeting, and familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- 1-2 years in a municipal or like setting is considered an asset.
- Must possess a valid Province of Alberta driver’s license with Class 5 and provide a current 3-year driver’s abstract.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and GIS software.
- Certification in Asset Management is an asset.
Skills & Abilities:
- Exceptional communication and public relations skills, with the ability to effectively convey information both in writing and verbally.
- Strong interpersonal skills that support the fostering of strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and work independently to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive internal and external information.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while standing, walking, or moving for extended periods.
- Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace.
