Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in Architectural Technology or Architectural Engineering Technology (or equivalent) with a focus on interior design or space planning, or the completion of a drafting diploma from a recognized institute of technology (or equivalent), plus 2 years of progressively responsible drafting experience
- Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T) designation is an asset
- Experience using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Proficient in drafting accurate floor plans, schematics, area calculations, furniture layouts, and measured drawings for space management and accommodation planning
- Strong understanding of building codes, design specifications, and construction practices
- Experience with project and contract management is an asset
- Strong communication skills, both in written and oral presentations and an ability to develop relationships and collaborate effectively with architects, planners and project teams
- Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies and methods
