We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Applications Analyst.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Systems and Analytics (ESA), the Applications Analyst position is responsible for supporting, managing, and implementing enterprise applications across the organization including data analytics and application enhancements to improve quality and efficiency. They collaborate with team members to assist in the analysis, design, configuration, validation, testing, implementation, documentation, support, and problem resolution of the business applications throughout project and/or lifespans. This position will contribute alongside their colleagues in the development of the application management framework which includes standards, processes, and best practices for managing enterprise systems.
This position will be involved in the implementation of the Integrated Finance and Human Resource system and will be part of the team to provide post implementation application management. This will include business process optimization and data integration/interoperability. This position will also manage other business applications as assigned. Candidates with specific related experience will be highly regarded.
The following qualifications are required:
Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Information systems, Computer Science or a related discipline. A diploma and equivalent years of experience will be considered
Minimum of (5) years of experience implementing, managing and supporting corporate business applications
Minimum of (5) years of experience implementing, managing and supporting Finance and HR systems, or ERP systems
Minimum of (3) years of experience in project management, processes, and tools
Experience managing SaaS enterprise applications
Experience in managing business, functional and technical requirements
Excellent analytical, conceptual, and critical thinking skills and verbal and written communication skills
Effectively consult with clients on business processes and convey technical concepts so they are understood
The following qualifications are considered assets:
Experience in business process optimization, particularly as it relates to Finance and HR or ERP systems
Experience in the development of data integration and data interoperability
Experience developing Business Intelligence and Analytics platforms and/or products
Certification and/or experience related to ITIL 4 framework
PMP or Prince2 project management certification
Demonstrated knowledge with MS-SQL, SSRS, Crystal Reports, and IIS
