The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
- Post-secondary/Trade Certificate in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- An Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification would be considered an asset.
- Five to Seven (5-7) years related technical experience with strong understanding of integrations, operating systems, network and server infrastructure and administrating systems
- Strong technical experience with applications using SQL server backend.
- Technical knowledge and working experience with IP-based call handling systems, computer aided dispatch and records management systems.
- Support experience in Public Safety organizations such as police, fire, health services or other first-responder and emergency services related environments.
- The ability to demonstrate effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical personnel. Must possess the ability to interact and engage with vendors, managed service providers, and consultants.
- Possession of a valid Alberta driver’s license and satisfactory driving record is required.
The total rewards package for this position includes:
A starting annual salary of $82,300 to $102,800 based on a 35-hour work week.
