The M.D. of Fairview No. 136 invites applications for the position of Administrative Assistant.
Key Responsibilities Include:
This position acts as the first point of contact for the Municipality, greeting and serving the public as well as answering all incoming telephone calls. The position provides support primarily within the areas of reception, cash receipting, administrative services support, sales support, and filing.
High school diploma with a minimum one-year business or administrative-related certificate
1 to 3 years customer service experience, in a municipal setting is preferred
Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (successful candidate must provide a clean driver’s abstract)
Well-developed Microsoft Office and computer skills
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce accurate results, and meet deadlines
SALARY & BENEFITS:
The MD of Fairview No. 136 offers competitive wages (minimum grid wage $27.61 per hour, comprehensive benefit plan, pension plan and three weeks paid vacation per year).
