Waste & Diversion Program Supervisor

Summary

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role supports the day-to-day delivery of Roseridge programs, coordinates community outreach efforts, and helps keep our operations running smoothly. The successful candidate will take on a range of duties from customer support and event coordination to site audits and program tracking — all with the goal of helping residents and member municipalities divert more and waste less.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing waste and diversion plans to reduce waste and encourage participation
  • Coordinating community outreach programs and events promoting our programs and services
  • Customer service representative to act as liaison with customers and service providers
  • Site and building maintenance supervision

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies or a related field, along with one to three years of
    experience in the waste industry
  • Expertise in program planning, development, and implementation
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Willing to work independently and make routine decisions regarding ongoing operations
  • The successful applicant will be required to obtain a satisfactory police information check.
  • An Alberta Class 5 Driver’s Licence and access to a personal vehicle for business use are required
  • Willingness and ability to take industry-specific training courses
