- A degree in energy management, sustainability, engineering, environmental science, or a related field is necessary.
- Demonstrated experience in energy audits, efficiency programs, or sustainability project management.
- Knowledge of municipal operations, energy efficiency technologies, and greenhouse gas reduction strategies (preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and engage with stakeholders from differing backgrounds.
- Familiarity with relevant energy regulations, policies, and funding opportunities.
- Criminal Record Check, Driver’s License and Driver’s Abstract required.

The MEM is a 2—year, grant funded position through the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre.
Hours: 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
