Save the Dates! Energy Efficiency Advisory Panel – Municipalities Technical Session

Please join the Energy Efficiency Advisory Panel on September 14 and 15, 2016 to share your perspectives and expertise on addressing energy efficiency in municipalities across Alberta.

The Government of Alberta recently established the Energy Efficiency Advisory Panel to make recommendations on energy efficiency programs and community energy programs that a new provincial agency, Energy Efficiency Alberta, can deliver to consumers, businesses and communities starting in early 2017.

The Municipalities Technical Session is an opportunity for dialogue with the Panel. The Panel is mandated to listen, test assumptions, and communicate to government potential implications and opportunities associated with a range of approaches to energy efficiency, including at the municipal level.

Please save September 14 and 15, 2016 and participate in this valuable discussion! The session will be held at the Holiday Inn and Conference Centre in Edmonton (4485 Gateway Boulevard).

Registration details and agenda will be shared shortly so please watch the Contact newsletter for updates. Please note, registration will be limited to two people per municipality.

Information about the Energy Efficiency Advisory Panel is available here.
