Government of Canada is seeking feedback on recovery strategy
The federal Ministry of Environment and Climate Change is seeking input on a draft recovery strategy for the Gypsy Cuckoo Bumble Bee. The Gypsy Cuckoo Bumble Bee can be found in much of Alberta and requires other bee species to reproduce and build habitats.
The draft recovery strategy can be viewed online, and comments can be sent to ec.planificationduretablissement-recoveryplanning.ec@canada.ca by November 20, 2022. If your municipality does provide input, please forward a copy to RMA Policy Advisor Warren Noga at warren@rmalberta.com.
